To meet your needs, we offer three service levels: FREE Telephone Support When you need assistance resolving a problem, our technicians will walk you through the trouble-shooting process FOR FREE. If we can't help you correct the problem over the phone, we offer the following options: Depot Level Service- Send your printer to us and save money. On Site Service- Our technicians come to your site for those time critical repairs. See below for more information on each type of service and tech support we offer. |

Depot level service is available for those who want to save money and can spare their printers for a few days.
Your printer will receive a comprehensive inspection to determine exactly what needs to be repaired. You will then be provided with a written estimate. Repairs will begin upon receipt of your written approval. Upon completion of the repair, we will thoroughly test your printer and return it to you functional and clean. Tech Tip
Print heads are complex, sensitive electronic components. Mishandling and improper installation can cause irreparable damage or premature failure. Prolong your print head's life by following these important Do's and Don'ts:
DO:
• Clean your print head after each roll of ribbon (or each roll of direct thermal labels). EACH ROLL!! This is the single most important thing you can do to prolong the life of a print head. To borrow a popular slogan - just do it!
• Use the lowest heat setting possible for acceptable print quality; this will conserve energy and prolong print head life
• Print at the lowest effective speed possible; this will decrease the abrasiveness on the print head
• Use ribbon that is slightly wider than the label stock; this will protect all print head elements from abrasion
• Ground yourself before touching or changing the print head to prevent static discharge damage
• Use premium quality ribbons. Silicon coating reduces wear on print heads.
DON'T:
• Touch the print head anywhere except the edges. Even the lightest touch can cause damage to print head glass
• Use foreign objects of any kind on or near the print head; this could cause scratching and severe damage
• Use low quality thermal label stock; poor quality labels may cause excessive adhesive ooze and build-up on sensitive print head components
• Attempt any repairs if your are unfamiliar with printer mechanics; one wrong move and you can blow a main board!
• Forget to clean your print head!
