Harsh Environment/Durable Image Ribbon
Our HT-3(B120HS) Resin Ribbon product is uniquely suited to the automotive, chemical and cosmetic industries. When used on self-wound polypropylene overlaminates, HT-3(B120HS) bonds to the media, virtually becoming a part of the label. This makes the image extremely resistant to smudging, scratching, acids, oils, and many other solvents. We also offer ribbons for use on standard polypropylene, vinyl, polyester, and other synthetic substrates.

DNP (formerly Sony) has a tremendous selection of formulas and sizes for almost every printer made. Our entire product list, or for individual brands, is available below. As an added benefit, DNP offers an amazing 4 Million Inch! print head guarantee* on their TR4085plus™ ribbon.
*DNP Guarantee: DNP guarantees that any thermal transfer print head can run up to four million linear inches of DNP TR4085plus™ thermal transfer ribbon without suffering any damage caused by the ribbon. For this guarantee to be valid, DNP insists that you follow the OEM’s recommended maintenance schedule, use manufacturer-approved media and comply with manufacturer-specified operating conditions. But if, by some strange twist of fate, a print head is damaged by DNP’s TR4085pIus™ ribbon, they will replace it at no cost to you.

Formulation Description
Signature SeriesTM Wax -- is a reliable, cost-effective solution for a wide range of applications. It prints at high speeds and delivers crisp, durable images on a variety of substrates. It is versatile enough to print on papers as well as low-end synthetics.
TR4085plus -- TR4085plus Resin Enhanced Wax ribbon brought wax technology to a wider range of applications. TR4085plus features Sony’s SmoothCoatTM backcoat, provides unparalleled printhead protection, while delivering the darkest, most durable images. In addition, TR4085plus prints on a wide range of substrates at temperatures consistent with those used for TR4085. Prints at high speeds (12 PS) delivering crisp, rotated bar codes, dissipates static, superior print quality on flood-coated labels and enhanced smudge and scratch resistance. Meets FDA requirements for indirect food contact applications, it’s the same price as TR4085 was and comes with a two-million-inch printhead protection guarantee*.
TRX-55, TR5080, TR5050, TR4065 -- Wax/resin and premium wax/resin ribbon products produce superior results including darker images, higher print speeds and less printhead static on a wide range of media from paper to low-end synthetics.
TR6075, TR4070, TRX-76, TR6070, TR3370(white) -- All purpose and specialty resin formulations. Provide improved image quality and durability for applications that require special performance characteristics like extra resistance to environmental conditions, chemicals, scratching, and smudging.
TR4500 -- Wax/resin formulation for Near Edge printers such as Toshiba TEC. Prints a dark, durable image using near edge or corner edge print heads at high speeds and low energy settings.
TR3021 (Red), 3022 (Blue), 3023 (Green) -- Based on DNP's proven TR4085plus formulation, these quality wax ribbons expand your color possibilities when black just isn’t enough. Provides excellent print clarity and smudge resistance and is available in 6 and 12 SmartPaks.
