New Lower prices at our online label store!

We can provide you with replacement parts and printheads for most models of printers.  See our TechTip for a quick maintenance idea.

You may have been informed that you have to purchase parts from a specific supplier in order to maintain the warranty on your printer.  This is false information!  See our Your Rights notice for details.

To make it easier for you to order replacement parts, we have provided a link to the Sato website.  There you will find exploded view drawings and an interactive parts lookup.  Open the diagram, click on the circled numbers and you will be provided with part numbers and list prices.

Go to the Go to the Sato Parts Lookup Site Parts Lookup

You may also download user and service manuals from the Go to the Sato Parts Lookup Site website here: Download documentation and drivers

Clicking on the above link will open a new window and take you to their site.  When you are done, just close that window to return here.  You will need to review the diagrams, write down the part numbers you wish to order, then give us a call to get current prices and availability.

TechTip

Printheads are complex, sensitive electronic components. Mishandling and improper installation can cause irreparable damage or premature failure. Prolong your printhead's life by following these important Do's and Don'ts:

DO:

Clean your printhead after each roll of ribbon (or each roll of direct thermal labels). EACH ROLL!! This is the single most important thing you can do to prolong the life of a printhead. To borrow a popular slogan - just do it!
bulletUse the lowest heat setting possible for acceptable print quality; this will conserve energy and prolong printhead life
bulletPrint at the lowest effective speed possible; this will decrease the abrasiveness on the printhead
bulletUse ribbon that is slightly wider than the label stock; this will protect all printhead elements from abrasion
bulletGround yourself before touching or changing the printhead to prevent static discharge damage
bulletUse premium quality ribbons. Silicon coating reduces wear on printheads.

DON'T:

bulletTouch the printhead anywhere except the edges. Even the lightest touch can cause damage to printhead glass
bulletUse foreign objects of any kind on or near the printhead; this could cause scratching and severe damage
bulletUse low quality thermal label stock; poor quality labels may cause excessive adhesive ooze and build-up on sensitive printhead components
bulletAttempt any repairs if your are unfamiliar with printer mechanics; one wrong move and you can blow a main board!
bulletForget to clean your printhead
