The new APOLLO from Tharo Systems is the first
printer that lets you download a label format, or even graphics and a data base,
to an optionally installed, industry-standard PCMCIA card, disconnect the
printer from the PC and take it to a new location. Using the printer’s front
panel or a standard computer keyboard, you can input data, specify the number of
labels to print, and merge database information into your format...all without
the PC attached!

APOLLO HAS 3 SCALABLE INTERNAL TYPEFACES!
While most label printers offer 1 resident scalable
font or none at all, the APOLLO features 3 printer-resident scalable typefaces!
All Western and Eastern European Latin characters are also resident in the
APOLLO. Greek and Cyrillic are not resident, but can be printed as TrueType
fonts.
INTERNATIONAL OPERATION!

For systems integration APOLLO is one of the
easiest to interface printers in the world. Serial up to 57,600 baud, Centronics
parallel, and RS-485 networking interfaces are all built-in to the APOLLO. These
interfaces, along with the fact the APOLLO programming language requires no
control characaters, allows interfacing with virtually any system including
minis, mainframes and UNIX.

Unlike many printers, adding options like a tear
plate, cutter, external rewind and present sensor is extremely easy with the
APOLLO. A simple turn of a lever is all that is required.

Our patented mechanism for attaching media to the
internal rewind is faster and easier than any internal rewind you’ve ever
used!
PRINT ON ALL TYPES OF LABEL MEDIA
Thermal/thermal transfer roll-fed, die-cut,
continuous or fan-fold labels, tags or tickets on standard 8-inch diameter
rolls. Print labels on a variety of materials including polyester, mylar, vinyl,
polypropylene and tamper-evident label stock.
SUPERIOR ENGINEERING
APOLLO was designed with fewer moving parts and
